Our Nursery Room is just magical. We provide an environment that not only is nurturing, inspiring and warm but an environment that is just like home where our Ducklings are loved, cuddled and stimulated all day. We focus on sensory experiences, gross and fine motor fun as well as many opportunities to explore their very own Ducklings play ground. Our Educators work closely with families to ensure each child’s individual routine is followed and to provide their children with all the love and nurture that they need.
Our Doves Room focuses mainly on developing each child’s fine-motor, language skills, ball play, music and movement skills. Our Doves love their outdoor time and they enjoy any chance to play with their guinea pigs, herb garden and wiggly worm farm. We work closely with the families with their child`s language development. Most importantly forging lasting and meaningful friendships and relationships are our priority.
Our Bluebirds Room focus on providing an environment that encourages building positive and lasting relationships and friendships. Our Bluebirds children are encouraged to be involved learners and are at the centre of what we do and practise. Our ideas stem from the children’s ideas and our Educators extend on these marvellous ideas creating more challenging experiences that started from their interest, conversations and things the Kids at West End community have shared with us. We love challenging our Bluebird children to learn and grow throughout our quality programs we offer.
We run the Queensland Approved Kindergarten Program in our Owls room. It embraces the inclusive vision that “all children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life”.
Our program focuses on enriching each child’s life and most importantly concentrating on the skills that our children will need to start Prep. We are so passionate about this program and equipping our boys and girls with as many skills as possible for their journey into big school. Our children are supported in developing letter and number recognition, science and mathematical concepts, technology skills and social competence in this important year prior to starting school.
A very important focus for us is ensuring our children are socially ready to start school and know how to form and maintain friendships
